Experiment Write-Up (Due January 22, 2014)
1. Conduct several trials of your experiment. The more trials you complete, the more accurate your information will be.
2. Take notes by recording the results of each trial and step that you complete.
3. Collect any data that results from your experiments and organize it in a chart or graph.
4. Type a report that includes:
a. Thesis Statement
b. Procedures that you followed
c. Results of your experiments
d. A chart or graph of your data
e. Conclusions (i.e what you learned; if mistakes or changes occurred between trials, what happened and why did it happen?; how the experiment can be done differently or better the next time…etc)
5. Formatting: Typed, Double- spaced, 12 pt. font, Name and Date in top corner, Title of Project
a. Your completed write-up should be about 2-3 pages long including the graph.
