The worst time I chose to lie was when I got a D on my report card in 5th grade. I didn’t want to show my parents, because I knew that they would get mad at me. Well technically it’s not lying, it’s just withholding information. Only when they actually asked me to see my report card did I lie to them, and said, ‘’I think I lost my report card, oh where could it be?’’ This made my parents furious that I ‘’lost’’ my report card, but wait until they actually see what’s inside it.

The time I lied was yesterday. I wanted to stay with my friends for back to school night. I told my dad that I was going to help my friends move their stuff and he said okay. I stayed with my friends but then I went to go play basketball with them while my dad was in the auditorium. He didn’t know that I was outside playing basketball. I walked to Mc Donald with Angela and I got a sweet tea and lemonade for a friend.

I have lied many times during my life. Sometimes it can be a minor lie. Other times it can result in something bad happening. Although, most of the time when I lie it’s not something that’s too serious. Usually whenever I lie it’s to keep something a secret that might offend someone. I try not to lie too much now because I know it’s better to tell the truth. I don’t want to lie about certain things even though that I would like to.

I lied many times when I was a child. The lies were part of why I was a brat in my early childhood. I was a dumb child at this time. There was a time where I told a lie that led to police coming to my house. I was in kindergarten when this happened. It was during a school day, my teacher noticed I was having trouble getting up. Then she noticed my bruises on my leg. She asked, “How did you get those bruises?” I told her that my dad hit me with a baseball bat. I couldn’t remember what happened after that.

I have lied a lot in my life. Sometimes it’s for the greater good, most is just to get me out of a jam. Lying has serious consciences if they found out if you had not been truthful. It causes pain and betrayal. It hurts people feeling. To me lying is a tool and should be used only when necessary. If you use the tool too much and wrongly it will stop working. People will stop beveling in you. So in other words, just don’t do it.

Matthew 9/20/13 Language Arts The worst time I had a serious consequence was that I had told my parents I was getting good grades in 7th grade. I was actually getting some what of bad grades. I had 3 d’s 2 c’s and 1 b. I had hold the lie so long my parents would never tell me if I was getting good grades. Every day I fell more and more guilty, but I still wouldn’t tell my parents. They didn’t know there was a site to see my grades till the third trimester. This whole time they haven’t known about my real grades until they heard about Jupiter grades. When they checked it out they just flipped. My punishment as that I would do my homework, take shower, do late work, or do projects. Every single day, I was not able to have any fun. It was the close to the end of the third trimester and it was the day before late work was no longer accepted, I had 2 more late work assignments. So I worked my butt of trying to do it. My parents made me stay up till I do it. So I turned it in, and I had 3 b’s and 2c’s. But my parents still did not let me have fun.

There are always a few moments in your life where you lie; thinking that it wouldn’t be a big deal, and it turns out almost the exact opposite than you expected it to. Arriving at my younger cousin’s house one day, this happened to me, and I didn’t realize how bad it would turn out. When I entered my cousin’s room, I realized that she was still brushing her teeth and getting ready. It was then when I decided to play a little prank on her and hide one of her papers littered on the desk near her bed. I took the one right on top, and tucked it away in a toy chest that she had near the corner of her bed. I heard the door open and quickly stepped away and sat down.

Some lies can have a serious consequence. Many people have said that they have never lied before, but those who say that have lied. I was around 10 or 11 and I was at my neighbor’s house. Her name was Vivian and she was my age. Vivian and I were lying on her porch on the floor, with her bunny named Bugsy. Everything was calm and all of a sudden Bugsy freaked out about something. She cut me on the nose with her sharp claws and it hurt. I looked in the mirror and saw a long and deep cut. I was scared to tell my parents what happened, because I didn’t want them to say I couldn’t come back to her house to play. Eventually, when we finished playing I dreaded to go home and hear what my parents would say about it. I went home and my mom noticed my nose. She asked me, “What happened to your nose?!” I just told her that I scratched it.

The time when I lied was when my mom told me not to go anywhere until she gets back. I told her I wouldn’t, but I did. I went to my friend’s house to get something for a little while. While I was hanging out with her, I had forgot about my mom. Later on, I remembered and I went home. When I was about to leave, my friend told me to listen to a song that she really liked, so I did.

When I was little I used to lie a lot. Whenever my parent found out that I lied they would hit me. I can’t even remember why I lied to my parent and other people. When I lied to someone my hand just started to shake and that’s why my parent notice that I was lying. One time in 7th grade I lied to my S.S. teacher about candy. He asked me if I have candy in my mouth and I said “no, I don’t have candy in my mouth” and then he told me to open my mouth. After he asked me to open my mouth I was like “I do have candy in my mouth.

I lied about I did not go and destroy my classmate homework. I did this because he got me mad because he told I am ugly and when I was little kid I get really emotional so I got his home work and I rip it up. An the teacher was there watching me rip it and even though she ask did you rip up his homework and I kept on saying no so she sent me to the office. When I went to the office they said u already have 2 warning and this was my last warning so I got suspended.

I have lied many times in my life, some for small things I got away with, and some for a BIG lie, with huge consequences. Like, in 6th grade, I had to do a poster, write-up, and oral presentation on the Skeletal System. All students had a month to do their project, but I completely forgot about it. And, I just remembered the day it was due. When it was time to present our projects, I looked around and everyone already had their project, and were ready to present. I was feeling nervous about what would happen if the teacher found out. My teacher was one of those people who could be really nice, or really angry. Once, she got so mad she started throwing chairs, so I didn’t want that to happen to me. When, it was my turn, the teacher asked me where was my project. When I opened my mouth, this long lie began.

A few weeks ago I was having a sleepover with my cousins. My cousin lives near lots of shops and a seven-eleven. Before my mom had left my cousins house she had told me not to go anywhere. I told her that I wouldn’t and she left. A few hours later my cousin and I got hungry and she told me that she wanted to go to chipotle. I told her that I couldn’t go and I would wait for her at her house. She told me that we would be back before I know it so I believed her. We started walking to the bus stop when my cousin got a call from her sister and that my mom had come back. My cousin and I started running back to her house and when we got there my mom looked really mad. I had told her that we were just going to the park to go and walk but she didn’t believe me. I had to go back home and I couldn’t sleep over. When I got in the car my mom she started yelling at me and I stared crying. We got home and she still kept yelling at me. She took my phone, and any other games I had away and I was grounded for 2 weeks.

I’ve lied many times in my life. Once I lied about getting a good grade on a quiz when I got an F. I told my mom I got an A, which made her proud and she thought I was doing good in class. Though really I was so behind I didn’t get anything in the class. Later my teacher told us everybody with a grade lower than a C had to get a parent signature. I got an F and my mom had to sign it. I didn’t know how to tell my mom but unfortunately I had to. When I did tell her she was shocked and I knew she thought it was weird to have been getting A’s and suddenly to get an F. I finally told her the truth.

Lying is pretty bad in a way and if you lie to your parents, that isn’t good. Eventually, they will find out and it always happens to me. Many years ago, I got in trouble for stealing someone’s doughnut in preschool. My teacher told me that was wrong but I didn’t know because I was like three years old. She told me that I had to tell my parents what I did. So when I got picked up from preschool, my mother asked me how was my day and if I got in trouble. I told her that it was good and I did not get in trouble. So she believed me until the last day of t he week (Friday).

The time I lied was when I was in 5th grade. The reason I lie was because I did not finish a report so I told my mom and dad that I finished it when I didn’t. The reason I said that I did do was because I didn’t want to get in trouble by them. I didn’t end up getting finishing the report.

One time when I was a little boy I lied about doing my homework. I never did my homework and that led to all my grades getting a F. So then I was in 5th grade and I never wanted to do homework or anything all I wanted to do was watch T.V. and play games that was all I did during 5th grade. I never really cared until now I realized that school is much more important than anything else. I see importance in school work but then I get really lazy so that I wont do anything but play games and eat food.

There are many times when I have lied and most are all minor lies. I don’t remember the time when I lied and got in big trouble. I do remember the time when I was small, I told my parents that I was going to play outside with my brother and cousins and some friends. My parents told us that we shouldn’t go too far. We didn’t listen to them and we went to play somewhere far. We got lost and didn’t return home for a long time. They got worried about us and they came looking for us. By the time it was 8 to 9 pm, we were still at the place we were playing at. When we realized it was very late, we returned to our home with a lucky guess. My parents came back afterwards and saw us and got mad because they didn’t know where we were. We lied and said we were playing hide-and-seek. They didn’t believe us because they searched all over and didn’t see anyone of us. They told us that if we don’t tell them the truth, then we would not be able to go anywhere else again. So we had to tell them the truth and we got in big trouble. They still aloud us to go somewhere to play but we weren’t allowed to go anywhere far or else we would not play outside anymore unless with our parents with us.

The time I lied was in the summer of last year. I played with my IPod Touch a lot. I played with it so much that I never paid attention to what my parents told me to do when I was playing. This made my mom very irritated. As a result, my mom confiscated it and told me I could only play with it after I do what my parents tell me to do.

There are two types of lying. One is a dark lie and the other is a White lie. The dark lie consists of stretching the truth. The white lie consists of stretching the truth, but only to make someone feel better. We have ALL lied. No one is perfect. Sometimes we have to rely on our mind, but sometimes that mind leads us to a handful of trouble. It isn’t easy being perfect. Who is perfect? No one of course! Let me tell you my lying story. This story is about a white lie.

Ounce my father had 20-dollar bill. I saw it there and I didn’t know who’s it was, it was just there and I felt bad for. So I took the money and left, I bought a Dr.Pepper, a bag of hot Cheetos, and a sour patch kid. When I walked out of the store my change was 9-dollars left. When I got home my father was looking for the 20-dollar bill. When he asked if I have seen it I said “nope”. But of course I did, and I had change maybe they’ll see it and be suspicious I had to hid the evident. So I asked my older sister “if she wanted to go to the liquor store with me?” She said, “yes” so we went and spent all the money. Of course eventually I told him that I took the money and spend it all.

Sometimes I may seem to lie easily. My mom tells me do my homework and my study while she was out. I try to do it but I ended wanting to play and fool around. After that, I get to back to work, so my mom wouldn’t find out. Soon, she finds out that I’m not behaving myself, she gets mad at me and yelled at me. My consequence was, my mom feels worried and she wants me to work hard. Even though when I grow up, nobody will take care of me and helped me. My mom also gets mad at me for getting a C, D, and F’s. she wants me to get an A and B’s. Even though I try to get good grades, and I had to stay away from bad grades. She finds out that I lie about it, so I try to get good grades. When I show it to her, she gets happy.

I don’t remember the last time I lied. I don’t lie unless I really have to for some reason. I think lying is wrong because it can get you in trouble, and if you lie once then you will have to keep lying for a long time. Some people start lying and they get used to it and they do it all the time and they start lying everyday.

There are some people who will say, “I’ve never told a lie before.” That itself is a lie, because every single person has lie. It could be something minor like lying that you did your homework when you haven’t, or something major like framing a friend for something you did. Whatever it is, everybody has lied at some point in his/her life. As for me, I have minor lies every now and then, but there is one time when I made a rather big lie that caused my sister to hate me for quite a long time.

Lying, I’m pretty sure we’ve all done it before. I’ll be honest, I’ve done it before and I doubt that there is someone who has never. Nobody’s perfect. A while back there was an incident where I lied to my parents. I didn’t want to face the fact that I did something so simple wrong and get the whole “I told you so” speech. So, I ended up lying. I was just supposed to hold the hose down into the fish tank but due to my carelessness, it slipped out and wet the entire entrance. I told them that I had to use the bathroom real quick so I let go. We ended up cleaning the floor with rags, which just wasted more time, time that my dad needed to finish his paperwork.

Lying can lead to serious consequences especially when your lying to your parents! You can lose there trust and not just that you’ll feel bad at the end or regretful because you’ve made the wrong decision to lie which led to consequences. I cant recall the last time I’ve lied because I’ve matured and been accepting my mistakes and for what I have done wrong. So I haven’t lied recently to anybody.

When I was smaller, I used to lie a lot. I wouldn’t get in trouble often, which is weird. As I got older, I learned that lying is bad and can get you into deep trouble. When you lie to your parents, it makes it easy for them to lose your trust. When you lie, there are consequences. If you’re a kid, most likely you will get grounded. If you’re a young adult, or an adult, if you break the law and lie, the situation will be really bad.

There was a moment in my life that I was good at lying. It happened in kindergarten; surprisingly it was one of my “friends” that I’ve always hated. She was nice to all my other friends that I played with, while she has always mistreated me. Her name was Tiffany, she was taller and more beefy than me, and I would always get picked on or get blamed by her for all the wrong reasons. The word that went through my mind each time I saw her was: hate.

Not to long ago, I made a small lie that I thought would keep me out of trouble. I had fixed my mistake and thought it wouldn’t affect my life at all. It all started when I had agreed to watch over my mom’s friend’s daughter. She was the most well behaved little girl I had ever seen and she was only four years old. Her mother advised me to never let her out of my sight so she wouldn’t cause trouble. I saw the little as an angel and didn’t pay attention to what her mother said. She went outside to the front porch with my mom, and I was left all alone with the little girl.
